Wedding plans

3 months until the big day!

I cannot believe how the time has just flown by.
But on the other hand, I have a fabulous wedding planner and have not been stressed at all.
(I'm sure that will change the week of)
But he is taking care of everything.

My wedding planner lives in Maryland and I live in Arkansas so our meetings have been slim (we've only had 2) but they have been VERY productive.

We have the main things crossed off our list.

Wedding Planner

 Wedding party
Guest list

Bridesmaids gifts
Register for gifts
Centerpiece designs
Wedding rings
Ring bearer pillow

and last but not least...
We got our engagement pictures back today!!!
I will share those with you ladies tomorrow.

Christmas Traditions

I have seen this on quite a few blogs lately, so I thought I would do it myself.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper. I love to wrap gifts nicely for everyone. To me, something in a bag just screams no effort.

2. Real tree or Artificial?
Ours is artificial and I love it.

3. When do you put up the tree?
Since I don't have Thanksgiving meals at my house, I always put up my tree early. I love to be able to actually enjoy my Christmas decor.

4. When do you take the tree down?
After New Years sometime...
5. Do you like eggnog?
I've never tried it.
6. Favorite gift received as a child?
It is hard to narrow it down to just one. I always received great gifts.

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
8. Hardest person to buy for?
My mother. She is very particular in what she likes.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
Brad's grandmother. She likes just about anything. Usually she likes everything I have so she is happy if I get her something like mine that she has mentioned she likes.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever?
No idea.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie(s)?
The Santa Clause
(One, two and three)

and Elf

"The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear."

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Before Thanksgiving. I like to get mine done early so I don't have to worry about it.

14. Ever recycled a Christmas present?
Not that I can think of.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?
All the sweats. Mmmm
I absolutely love it when the holiday drinks come out in Starbucks.
That little read cup sure makes a difference :)
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree?
17. Favorite Christmas song?
I enjoy most Christmas songs but the one that I usually find myself singing the most is
"All I Want for Christmas is You"

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
We travel to see both families

19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?
You know Dasher and Dancer
And Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid
And Donner and Blitzen.
But do you recall
The most famous reindeer of all?
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer...
20. Angel on the tree top or a star?
Neither. I use those sparkly "sprigs"
Sorry I don't know the technical term for it.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas eve with Brad's family, Christmas day with mine.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?
It gets so busy.

23. Favorite ornament, theme, or color?
My tree is mainly red and gold.

24. What do you want for Christmas this year?
Diamonds :)
Just playin'....sorda. I am around them at work all day so it is very tempting!
I always love to get a new purse, shoes, or clothes.

The most wonderful time of the year

Wow it has been awhile since my last post.
Working in retail is crazy this time of year.
I worked a week straight after Thanksgiving then only had one day off...
So I am in desperate need to catch up in the blogosphere.

So here is what I have been up to.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
I absolutely LOVE the holiday season.
It just puts me in an amazing mood.

I started getting a little crafty making wreaths.
I have made 8 since Thanksgiving!
I have made 3 for me, a few for the church, some for family and even had requests for people to purchase them.
Here are 2 of the 3 I have for my house.

Mesh Wreath

Pre-lit wreath.
Brad and I celebrated our "anniversary"
We dated for 5 months before but we celebrate the day we decided to become "official" (December 1st) so I guess we celebrated our 4 year 5 month anniversary.
Where has the time gone?

We visited the place he proposed.
I absolutely LOVE seeing Christmas lights. This place is just magical. When I was driving downtown to see the lights they were not turned on yet...I said WHAT?! WHY ARE THEY NOT ON, THEY ARE ALWAYS ON BY DECEMBER.. as soon as I got passed the intersection I saw them turn on. I literally screamed YAY I was so excited.
Ahhh its the little things...
This picture was from last year after he proposed

This picture is from us going on our anniversary to see the lights.

We took our engagement pictures and I couldn't be more excited to see them! {Hopefully they will be ready to see next week!} Sorry but I do not have a sneak peak. I wish I did!

We spent some much needed time with friends and family.

I got all of the presents wrapped..still have a few more to purchase but at least what I do have is wrapped. dog has a stocking. Doesn't yours?

We got our first snow of the winter.
Okay so it was just a little dusting but I was excited about it.

That's all for now!

What a week!

What a week! I hope that everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving with their families.

My week was full of work, wedding planning, celebrating multiple Thanksgivings and more work.

This is the first Black Friday in years that I have had to unfortunately no shopping for me! I hope you all found some amazing deals! This is also the first Sunday I am working in the longest time. It just doesn't seem right....but it's the holiday season and Christmas will soon be here.

Last Tuesday, I had a day date with my wedding planner! It seriously makes everything seem so real now. It is 4 months away!! I can't wait to see all of our ideas transformed.

Brad and I have been engaged 1 year already! He proposed last Thanksgiving. We spent all day with the families but I got a little surprise. I love it when surprises include diamonds! His cousin said "see, it pays off to have a long already got an upgrade" HAHA. I originally had just a solitare, so he just got me a new setting and I think I'm in love!

Thanksgiving outfit of the day

I got to spend time with my favorite little girls.
They were having too much fun with my new phone taking pictures and wanting to shoot videos. Oh my...

We had SO MUCH food!

I am finally showing y'all a picture of my Christmas tree...Yes it has been up since November 13th. No, I don't feel like I am "skipping" a holiday by decorating for Christmas early.

So here was my living room after I got all of my Christmas stuff out of the attic! I don't see how we have room for anything else up there.
and here is the tree! :)

Off to work for the day. Here is another outfit of the day!

Have a great Sunday!
