Previously on the Bachelorette

Ashley is still “in love” with Bentley. Bentley flew all the way to Hong Kong to see her... They have some small talk...It was pretty awkward. She tells him how hard it has been since he left and how guilty she feels since the guys have no idea what her feelings are toward him. She talks about fate and not being able to let go.

He doesn't think things look good for them...and wants this to be their "period." She gets angry that he had her holding on to the dot dot dot and wants to know why he bothered to come.  She says he should have just called.
And that is it. Wow…why in the heck did you fly around the world for that?! She says he knows how to play women and is disrespectful. She basically was like  F**K you, I’m done with this. I am glad she finally realized what a jerk he is.

The two of them explore downtown Hong Kong. They watch street dancers, walk through a market, eat and just enjoy each others company. Over dinner, they talk and drink wine on a boat.  She gives him a rose. They kiss and dance in the moonlight.

Ryan, Mickey, Constantine, Ames, Ben and Blake are on this date.
The date consists of them racing each other in groups of three. They guys are put in groups of two and asked to recruit other members to race with them. Ames and Mickey’s team wins.  They all sit on the beach and watch an engagement take place in front of them. She feels lucky and hopes it foreshadows what is to come for her.
After some one on one time with the guys, which includes her sharing her first kiss with Ames in an elevator. {Where did this come from?! He laid it on her!!! } She gives the rose to Ryan. {..and the guys are pissed}
 'Let's take a peek into our future.'
Ashley is clearly into JP. They look so sweet together. She confesses to JP first about how she really felt about Bentley. He is happy she was honest with him and wants her to feel like she can tell him anything. He is glad she got the closure that she needed. She gives him a rose and they end the night kissing on the balcony. I think that Ashley has the strongest connection with JP. It wouldn't surprise me if he made it to the final two.
She tells the guys about seeing Bentley in Hong Kong earlier in the week. She said that she had fallen for him so fast and was devastated when he left. Since he left she has been thinking if there would be anything between them since he left it at dot dot dot….telling her to call once everything is over. {What an idiot...and she thought the guys weren't going to get upset?!}
The guys are less than sympathetic than JP was when he heard this and question her honesty and if she ever had feelings for any of them at all. Ryan says that he still wants to be there. Blake wonders if it is even worth staying at all. Mickey is beyond pissed that he wasted his time while she was hung up on Bentley the whole time and asks to be sent home. {I hated to see him go}
Ashley is now questioning if she should have ever told the guys her true feelings. She leaves apologizing to the guys about everything and crying.
Ryan, JP and Lucas already have roses.
Ben, Constantine and Ames get roses. Blake is sent home. I don’t blame her for sending him home one bit after the conversation he had with her about Bentley.
Tonight we say goodbye to Mickey and Blake.

I was sad to see both go.

-Just a thought-
 Has anyone else noticed the 12" gap between Ashley's legs when she stands/ walks? Seriously...that is not normal.
...Until next week

These are my Confessions

I Confess... I want to travel the world and go on extravagant dates like on The Bachelor/Bachelorette with my fiance'. Some of the dates and locations are unbelievable!
 Any of these locations would work:

I Confess...My best friend Aimee just got engaged while on vacation at Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and I couldn't be more excited for her! Aren't they adorable?!

I Confess.... I hate living nearly 4 hours away from all my friends. I would move back in a heartbeat.

I Confess...Since I have had Bentley, I have had to put him in a kennel when I leave the house to make sure he didn't destroy things when I was gone. I have been leaving him out for about a month now and so far so good. So proud of him!

I Confess... I am getting married in 9 months.
I can't wait to say...

A Woman Should...

Every Woman Should Have...

...one old love who reminds her how far she has come...

...enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own even if she never wants to or needs to...

...something perfect to wear if the employer or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...

...a youth she's content to leave behind...

...a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in her old age...

...a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra...

...one friend who always makes her laugh... and one who lets her cry...

...a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family...

...eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel honored...

...a feeling of control over her destiny...

Every Woman Should Know...

...how to fall in love without losing herself...

...how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship...

...when to walk away...

...that she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents...

...that her childhood may not have been perfect...but its over...

...what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

...how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it...

...whom she can trust, whom she can't, and why she shouldn't take it personally...

..where to go... be it to her best friend's kitchen table... or a charming inn in the woods... when her soul needs soothing...

...what she can and can't accomplish in a day... a month...and a year...

Every woman should...
Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

Marry a man you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.

Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.

When you say, "I love you", mean it.

When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.
Be engaged at least six months before you get married.

Believe in love at first sight.

Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.

Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
In disagreements, fight fairly. Please No name calling.

Don't judge people by their relatives.

Talk slowly but think quickly.

When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?"

Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.

When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

Remember the three R's:
Respect for self;
Respect for others;
Responsibility for all your actions.

Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice.

Spend some time alone.

Learn the difference between when he says; I LOVE YOU to get into your bed, or I LOVE YOU to get into your life!

This Week on the Bachelorette

We are spending another week in Thailand while Ashley still iswondering what could have been with Bentley.
Ashley and the men continue their search for love in Chaing Mai, Thailand.

Ben F
'Let's fall in love in Chaing Mai, Love,  Ashley.'

The other men are jealous since they know that the two of them have chemistry after the last group date at the orphanage. Ashley and Ben are off to a marketplace where they walk around, eat, shop and enjoy each other’s company. The date is cute, a perfect first date to get to know each other. They want to kiss, but since they are close to the temple it is not allowed. Over dinner, they talk about life, his wine business and family. He opens up about the death of his father and how that closed him off the past 4 years until he finally realized that he should take that love and give it to someone else. The more they talk, the more she can see an everyday life with him. She gives him a rose.

Love is worth fighting for
Constantine, Ames, Nick, Blake, Ryan, Lucas, JP and Mickey

They will be Muay Thai. Yes… they are fighting each other for her love. They get into an intense training which really begins to turn Ashley on….after about 3 hours of fighting, Ashley takes them off to a rink to fight each other. During the fighting, Ashley has trouble watching since she has developed such strong feelings for some of the guys. Ames does not have a mean bone in his body and is not a fighter so he is way out of his element here. After the fight with Ryan, Ames was not acting himself. Everyone is worried about him, so he gets checked out at the hospital. Ashley is upset the way the date turned out.

Ashley talks to the other guys, but worries about Ames. Everyone else is worried too and are happy when he comes back. Ames explained to Ashley they did a lot of testing and found out he was in love. {That was so sweet he threw that in there} It turned out that he actually had a mild concussion.
After more one on one time Ashley decides that Blake should get the rose.

Ben C and William's clue is 'Guide me to love,'
They go rafting and have a picnic....where William tells Ashley Ben is ready to move on to online dating. Ashley is upset, but glad he told her what was going on. She sends Ben home right away and confronts him about her conversation with William. He said that was not the case and he was just messing around with the guys. Ashley doesn't care and just sends him away, not wanting to risk getting hurt again.

The guys are shocked to discover he is gone.
William and Ashley enjoy dinner and drinks and he talks about how happy he is to be there. Ashley says she no longer has the feelings she had earlier in the journey, so she sends him home as well.
The men are shocked he got eliminated as well.

Ashley was acting weird all night…….she had Bentley on her mind…so there was nothing special.
Before the rose ceremony, she explained to Chris that she feels like she is cheating on the guys because she isn’t being completely honest with them and still thinks about Bentley. She said she needs closure from him….she cannot keep on with Bentley leaving it at “dot dot dot” Chris said well --- we are halfway around the world but we will see what we can do.

On to the rose ceremony
Blake and Ben F already have roses. Constantine, Lucas, JP, Ames, Mickey and Ryan all get roses. Nick is sent home.

Next week
They are off to Hong Kong. Oh and we can’t forget the return of Bentley. The previews make it look like all the other guys are pissed and want to go home.

These are my Confessions

I Confess... Every time I write "These are my Confessions" I think of the Usher song.

I Confess... That due to a few experiences I have encountered in this new area I live in I am going to start carrying pepper spray...and maybe a taser.

I Confess... Yes... I just said taser. There is a woman I work with that carries one everywhere with her in her purse. I would feel more comfortable just stunning someone than shooting them. We actually got it out during work yesterday so she could teach me how to use it.

I Confess... I have lived here since March 26, and I already want to move. Yes, I have been keeping track of how long I have lived here.

I Confess... Ryan Reynolds new Green Lantern movie does not look too good but I would watch it only because he is in it.

I Confess... I am getting my hair cut today. Maybe I will actually get a cut and not just a trim this time.

I Confess.... I like things organized and my closet is color coordinated similar to this:

I Confess.... I love sunsets. Especially sunsets on the beach. Breathtaking

I Confess.... It breaks my heart to hear about all the tornadoes we have had this year.

I Confess.... I am currently obsessed with the National Geographic Channel.

The "B" Word...

 For The Bachelorette, that "B" word is Bentley and she cannot get it out of her mind or vocabulary!

Ashley and the Bachelors travel to Phuket, Thailand for a new beginning on finding love. {Since Bentley left and she is heartbroken...she felt she needed a change}

"Let’s sea Phuket together"

The original plan was to go to a private beach but the rain and high waves prevented that from happening. Constantine and Ashley instead go shopping together and get love advice from the locals. They learn love is not about winning. She loves this since she doesn't want this to be a competition, but to see if something is there with someone.
She realizes that while she misses Bentley, she feels some chemistry with Constantine.
They spend more time talking about relationships and she finally gives him a rose. They end the night walking on the beach and she says she feels hopeful again.

"Let’s make this world a better place."

Ben F, JP, Blake, Mickey, West, Ben C, Nick, Lucas, William and Ryan.

This date is spent fixing up an orphanage for children who lost their families in the 2004 tsunami.
Ben F paints a mural for the children and Ashley joins him. She loves the idea and thinks it helps her get over Bentley.
{Again with the Bentley thing...he is GONE! I wish she would realize how he really was and get over it already}

At the end, they all meet the kids and show them around. They all play together and realize how much they take for granted every day. The fact that they cared so much to do something so selfless, so special....it just speaks volumes about them. They made a difference in the lives of those children and that is something they will never forget.
Ashley spends more one on one time with the guys as she tries to forget Bentley. {Enough! I'm so sick of hearing about him!}
JP says the date they had put everything into perspective for him and thinks it was the perfect date. They tease, cuddle and make out, which is magical for her, the best kisses by far for her.
The rose ends up going to....Ben F.

 'It's more romantic in the rain.'

Their date begins on a boat. Ames talks about how he traveled to Thailand after his college graduation and then again for cooking school. They kayak through caverns, relax and take in the view.....excited to see where things take them.
Over lunch, they talk about past relationships and what they are looking for in a mate. Ashley is glad to see this side of him and thinks there is some husband material there.
During dinner, Ames proclaims he thinks she is beautiful no matter what.  They talk more about relationships and he loves what a strong, independent woman she is. She is loving getting to know him and see the real him--the smart, sweet, flirtatious side of him--so he gets a rose. There was no kiss, but he thinks seeing her inner beauty and learning more about her meant so much more.

After a talk with Chris, Ashley adds an extra rose because she feels that now that Bentley is out of the picture, she needs to get to know the other guys better.

Lucas, Ryan, JP, Nick, Mickey, Blake, William and Ben C all get roses, which sends West home

Tune in next week for Chaing Mai with fighting, ambulances, dates ending prematurely and  someone that just so happens to be in the very same hotel as Ashley....who could it be?  Oh and looks like she will be dropping the "B" word quite a bit more.
