This Will Be Disappointing {Just My Opintion}

If you haven’t heard who is on the new cast of Dancing with the Stars, prepare to be disappointed. Some of these people I have never even heard of before.
David Arquette

Rob Kardashian

Kristin Cavallari
Ricki Lake
Chynna Phillips
Elisabetta Canalis
Chaz Bono

Soccer Superstar Hope Solo

Carson Kressley

NBA Champ Ron Artest

J.R Martinez

Nancy Grace

Based solely on the cast this season, I doubt I will be watching.
Talk about an interesting group of "celebrities."
Will you be tuning in or skipping the next season of DWTS?

My Thoughts On...

Kim Kardashian's Wedding
It is so hard to find pictures on this event, I am SHOCKED! But... no worries because we will get to see every little detail.

Until then, I can share a few little details via People Magazine / other online photos.

Obviously she didn't try to go above and beyond on this day. Only wearing $15 Million dollars worth of diamonds, wearing 3 different custom Vera Wang Dresses, having over 50,000 flowers and a 6 ft. tall cake just isn't cutting it. Kidding, of course.

This black tie affair was over the top glam.

The makeup. GORGEOUS. and I love that the makeup artists gives every little detail here on the products used for her big day.

The Kardashian Klan all came wearing white for the big day. Yes, the bridesmaids and mother of the bride wore custom WHITE Vera Wang dresses. They all looked beautiful, of course, but I personally feel like it takes away from Kim when all the focus should be on her.

All white on the night: While Kim Kardashian looked stunning on her wedding day, her sisters Kourtney and Khloe wore very similar Vera Wang gowns

I cannot wait to see the footage from this LAVISH event.
What are your thoughts on her big day?

My Thoughts On...

The previous Keeping Up with the Kardashian's episodes

{ 1 }
If Kim wears diamond stud earrings worth $75,000....she needs to put screw-backs on them. Just my two cents since I am now working in the jewelry biz. I love that Kris said that it is just a material thing and if you can't afford to replace it, you shouldn't own it. But---I would be pretty upset myself if I lost a diamond stud, no matter what the cost was. Luckily lil sis found it.

{ 2 }
There are certain things your boyfriend should know about you within the first 6 months of dating. For instance, telling your significant other you were married before. Obviously he was upset at how she was just like "one time, when I married this guy" um....you were married before?! That kind of information should be shared pretty early on in my opinion.

 The VMA's

I haven't gotten to watch all the VMA's yet {My TV will not let me watch a different show while there are 2 set to record. RIDICULOUS} but here are a few of my thoughts on:

{ 1 }
Beyonce's Pregnancy Reveal
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT
...and Jay Z's reaction was so sweet.

{ 2 }
Va Va VOOM
Demi Levato looked stunning

{ 3 }
Lady Gaga

She looks too much like a man {it's a little scary}. Who was this "alter-ego" supposed to be anyway?

I thought this was REALLY WEIRD and disturbing. Your thoughts?

Nicki Minaj's Outfit
Love this girl, but this outfit---
....I have no words.....

Stay Positive

Fill in the blank Friday

I absolutely LOVE Fridays! This one in particular because I had the day off. I went to get my nails done, and if you are wondering, I did not get a pedicure and experience this again {thank goodness} but I still haven't found a nail salon I really like. I miss my nail guy. I am tempted to drive 4 hours every few weeks just to get them done like I used to. Other than getting my nails done, I have had a pretty relaxing day and have another 3 to add to it! I love working 4 days a week.

Today I am linking up with the little things we do for fill in the blank Friday.

1.   One of life's most simple pleasures is to love and be loved.
But a close second would be finding money you didn't know you had {I love it when that happens}

2.    Calling someone and having to press 7 numbers to actually speak to a person  makes me want to punch someone.

3.  I like the fall because of every little thing I described in this post

4.   Indubitably is a funny word.

5.  If I had to choose one beauty product to use for the rest of eternity it would be  Foundation. My face does not feel "complete" without it.

6.  I'm happy that   I am saying "I Do" in 211 days!
7.  I would never be cruel to animals. Do you ever see those animal abuse commercials? They make me want to cry every time I see them. I hope you all have a great weekend!

These are my confessions...

I confess.... I am absolutely LOVING all of my new followers!!!

I confess.... My sweet, precious little fur-child Bentley has an obsession with my panties. I am getting tired of finding them with the crotch chewed out. I love Victoria's Secret, but they get too much money for "replacements." Does anyone else that has a male dog have this problem?!

I confess... I am more than ready for some HOG football. Wooooo Pig Sooie!

I confess... My job is very dangerous for my bank account. Being surrounded by diamonds and fabulous jewels all day is difficult ladies. Seriously ladies....try saying no. It's hard.

I confess... I cannot get past the fact that this place I live now does not have a Starbucks! I don't know how I've managed 4 months without it regularly....what am I going to do when it starts getting cold outside?!

I confess... I do not need a shredder for anything with "private" information I need to throw away because Bentley goes straight to the trash can to shred it into 100 pieces.

What is wrong with these pictures? Really...

 French Vogue Controversy & Lingerie for Children
What is this world coming to?!

By now you’ve all seen the controversial photos of this 10-year-old-model in French Vogue plastered all over the media and internet. I feel like the world is already sexually driven enough. But using a girl that is 10 years old for such ads? There is something very disturbing about this. The news of the underage lingerie line {targeted to 4-12 year olds} comes after the controversy surrounding the 10 year old model posing in a provocative photoshoot for French Vogue.

There is no reason, whatsoever, for children to have lingerie or "sexy" bras and panties. These kids are too young to even be wearing bras. Speaking of bras, why in the world do they make them for children that are heavily padded to make them look like they actually have something?!

The numerous sexual  poses and the heavily seductive makeup have brought forth the current debate on the over-sexualization of children.  You think?!! There is a very fine line between what is deemed beautiful and appropriate. This is completely inappropriate!

What are your thoughts on this issue? Do you feel this is appropriate?

It's about time

Thank you Florida, Kentucky, and Missouri, which are the first states that will require drug testing when applying for welfare. Some people are complaining and calling this unconstitutional. How is this unconstitutional? It is OKAY to drug test people that have to work for their money, but not okay for those who don't? It is about time for this to happen. This should be a requirement in ALL states.

My thoughts on....

 { Love > Money }

After Jackie was voted off the Bachelor Pad, Ames walked her to the limo to tell her goodbye. He started walking back to the house then realized he didn't want to remain in the competition without her. He started running after her as the limo was driving off. This seriously gave me chills! It was the most precious thing ever. I hope it works out between them. Love is greater than money!

{ Going Green }

Re-purpose, recycle, re-use! That seems to be Kate's motto. I admire her for actually wearing the same outfit more than once! This world seriously needs a reality check....and the state of our economy should be a big one.

{ I DO }

Didn't get an invite to Kim Kardashian's wedding? No problem, E! has you covered of course!
The network is home to all things Kardashian and announced that it will air "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event" over two nights in October. The behind-the-scenes special is set for Sunday, October 9, with the second part airing on Monday, October 10. I do not want to wait for all the details, we know it will be on the front page of everything Sunday morning. I can't wait!

{ Baby makes 3}
Hilary Duff announced on their 1 year anniversary that her and husband Mike Comrie are expecting! She is going to be the absolute cuttest preggo!

MIA and an Award

An award? I know I have been MIA lately, but I promise to be posting/commenting more very soon! My lovely sorority sister Sarah over at Peace, Love & Sweet Tea has recently nominated me for an award. {Thanks Sarah!} Everyone please make sure to check out her blog if you haven't already. This girl is so down to earth and tells it like she sees it. If I need a good laugh, I often go check out her posts.

So once you get one of these lovely little awards, you are supposed to tell a certain amount of things about yourself....but I am seriously stumped on what to say.  So I will refer you to these previous posts to get a little idea of who I am if you don't already know.

Now I am going to pass this along to a few of my favorite bloggers.

Thanks again Sarah for the award :)

Excuse me, what are you doing?

I had the day off yesterday, so I decided to do a few things around town. I looked for wedding invitations, got lost because the GPS on my phone wasn't working, bought a few birthday gifts, tanned, hit up sonic for happy hour and got a pedicure.

It was a pretty normal day I guess until I was getting a pedicure. I don't know about you, but I love getting pedicures. It is just so relaxing. Sitting in a massage chair, getting your feet and legs rubbed...

Ahhh I love it.
But yesterday was a different experience. A first, for sure.

This lady whipped out some kitchen tools.
I kid you not ladies.
Maybe this is "normal" in some places, but not for me. This was not my first time getting a pedicure by any means....but it will be my last at this joint. Let me introduce you to her tools....

The cheese grater

and the hand mixer
You might be wondering why I posted pictures of these little things that belong in the kitchen. After all, I said I was getting a pedicure, right? Well that is what I thought too until she whipped these babies out.

yes, I took pictures of her in action because I didn't think anyone would believe me.

Ummm excuse me, what are you doing?! Those do not belong in a nail salon.

 I hope this made y'alls day.
I know you are laughing....but that is okay because I was too.
Has something like this ever happened to you?!
Do tell!
