I have been the worst blogger ever.
Okay maybe not ever...but its been awhile.
and that must change.
Let me fill you in on a few things that have been going on.
First of all...... my wedding is in 10 days!
The time has FLOWN by.
Things have been going great (for the most part)
Things are finally starting to come together
I am checking many things off my mile long to-do list
There is just one little thing
Okay this was HUGE to me
but might not have been to other people
Those of you who are married (or are in the process of getting married) know that it takes a long time to receive the bridesmaid dresses after you place your order.
My dresses FINALLY came in last week. Talk about cutting it close.
There was just one MAJOR PROBLEM.
THE TOPS ARE SHEER.
That's right ladies...
Sure it would be nice if you are going out for a few drinks...maybe you want
to get laid some guy to take you home....but that does not belong in a wedding. (I'm sure all the groomsmen and men attending the wedding will disagree)
Let me just put it this way, you would not have wanted to be around me on Saturday when I was made aware of the issue...and told the salon the issue...or Monday when I was trying to resolve the issue.
Let's just say a little prayer that they will all be fixed before the wedding.
On with other things.
I purchased Brad's wedding ring oh about 5 months ago. I asked him to try it on a few nights ago and he all of a sudden changed his mind on the ring. Really?! I tried telling him to get a different ring. Did he listen? No. So we are now purchasing a new ring for him.
We got our marriage license!!!
I finished and submitted my reception playlist and I am prettttty excited about it.
I have finally finished everything for Brad's wedding gift. He has absolutely NO idea and I have a feeling he will wonder how in the heck I pulled it off.
I have painfully started to spend the most amount of money in the shortest amount of time in my life.
I have lost many hours of sleep about all the little details.
I have learned that some people feel it is pointless to RSVP even if they wouldn't miss it for the world.
Even though there have been a few bumps along the way, at the end of the day I need to be thankful for so much more.
