Motivational Monday - A Better You

With the new year brings new hope, a fresh start, a clean slate, a new you.
I am sure you all know someone in your life or throughout the blogosphere that is wanting to accomplish a goal they set once the clock struck midnight New Years Day. Some of you think New Years resolutions are foolish. You might have set one and already broke it. Most people that set them do not stick to them. In a way I am like this. Which is why I don't make "resolutions." You always seem to wonder, how do I want to make this year different than any other? Change in most ways can be difficult. We are all set in our ways. However, I have set a goal to be a better me. What does that mean exactly? I want to be the best I can be in everything. My marriage, my relationships, my work, my everything. I want to make every day be the best day. To not take things for granted, even the small things. To say I love you every chance I get. I want to explore more, keep my eyes open to new things. I want to take more pictures. Listen to my husband more when he tells me I don't need that new top. Save a little for things I want to accomplish in the future. And most of all, not let so many little things bother me and cause unnecessary anxiety.
