With the craziness that life often brings us - sometimes we just need calm, relaxing days to ourselves. Days spent doing the things we want to do, when we want to do them.
This is often what I try to do on my days off.
Get rid of all the stress and anxiety of my daily work week routines and take time to myself. On my days off I usually try to get a mani/pedi, massage, lay out or lay in the tanning bed, read a book, or clear off the trashy reality TV off of my DVR... and it's amazing how much better I feel with a clean house. It is also easier to get this done while hubby is gone to work.
Taking time to yourself is needed. So I encourage you to sit back, relax and do the things you want to do and forget about all the hustle and bustle for a day.
