Motivational Monday

We are all blessed much more than we ever acknowledge.
There are things that we just tend to take for granted.
It is easy to get caught up in things, and to be overwhelmed.
It is easy to complain and wish for our lives to be a little different.

Maybe you are around people who always bring you down.... get rid of the toxic relationships.
Maybe you always assume the worst... focus on the positive.
Maybe you want something more to do with your time .... try a new hobby.
Maybe you wish to live in another city.... find things you enjoy where you are.
Maybe you are seeking another job.... be thankful if you have one.

But maybe, just maybe if you sit back and think of all the things you have to be thankful for, your views will change just a little bit. And that little bit of change will put a little more positivity in your life.

So if you aren't exactly where you want to be at this point in time, still find a way to appreciate it.... because Everything has a way of falling into place.
Every day, you have choices. You can go around worried and expecting the worse, or you can believe that God is in control.

It's FRIDAY and #iminlove

Let's talk about hashtags for a second.
Let's face it, they are everywhere - Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and even text messages. They are becoming the "norm" but some tend to overuse them.

If you haven't seen this viral video lately #youwillpeeyourpants #cantgetenough #ilovejustin #thisishowweallsoundonsocialmedia

Fall Bucket List

Well y'all, we are in the first official week of fall! Football season is in full swing, pumpkin Spice lattes are being served at your local Starbucks, pumpkin flavored and scented everything are on nearly every stores shelves, and we are all excited about pulling out our fall fashion pieces even if it is still nearly 90 degrees. But that hasn't stopped me from getting excited about the season. There is something about the change of each season that excites me. It is like a fresh start.

College Football, cool weather, great food and the holiday season is upon us!
We have rather hot summers in Arkansas so the change from Summer to Fall is always exciting. October is nearly is here, which means we have said goodbye to all things summer (...and almost said goodbye to those crazy temperatures) and we're exchanging those hot weather hobbies and lists for those festive, fall happenings...I've been working on a to-do list of items to check off these next few months so here is my fall bucket list:
-  Decorate our house for Fall
- Start a new fall craft
- Start cooking a few of my fall faves. Soups and Chili !
- Burning those fabulous fall smelling candles (B&BW Leaves)
- Take many outdoor walks
- Make smores
- Enjoy hot coffee instead of iced
-Try a new recipe
-Plant Mums
- Roast Marshmallows
-Drink hot chocolate
- Drive around and view the fall foliage
- Sit by a fire
-Add a few fall fashion pieces to my wardrobe
- Drink fancy fall pumpkin spice lattes
- Paint pumpkins
-Be thankful
What does your Fall Bucket List include?

Motivational Monday

There’s a way forward.
 Start moving.
To make any progress, you must make some effort.
Get going, make the effort....the progress you want will come.

Holding yourself back because you fear you will not reach your goal is the biggest mistake of all. The possibilities are out there. Take them. The way to move forward towards your goals is to start living them.

Though it may feel very comfortable where you are, if you’re doing nothing to move forward, you are holding yourself back.
Set a small goal and do the work to reach that goal.

Progress is a good feeling. Even if it is something small, you are working your way towards your goal.

Strive for progress, not perfection.

Home is where the heart is

Oh Fayetteville you have my heart.
I absolutely HATED moving from there and miss it dearly.
Thankfully we make trips to visit friends and family often and now that football season is here, we take the 3 1/2 hour drive back "home" to watch the Razorbacks play.
When the second home game came around, it seemed as if the guys didn't want to go.
Bow season is right around the corner so they were getting prepped for that.
Of course that didn't stop the ladies from having a fun girls weekend - gameday style.
This was Brad's Mamaw's first gameday trip and she absolutely loved it - she said she wants to come back with me each time I go now.

My mother in law was going absolutely crazy over my game day outfit. As we were walking in the stadium she asked me to stop so she could take a picture of my butt to send it to my husband. She text him the picture and said "recognize this butt?" his reply was "no" and she said "well you should meet her"

I was crazy about these pants myself though.
and of course we teach them how to call the hogs early. How precious is baby Sloane? She walked up and started calling the Hogs before I was able to start recording.
ahh I love it!

It's been too long

I know, I has been way too long since I have been around this blog. And to be honest, I do not have a good reason for my absence. I have been doing okay at keeping up with my Motivational Monday posts but that is about it. I guess I just needed a little break from things. I have neglected this blog and quite frankly just put it on the back burner. I have even been bad about reading everyone else's posts unless I had happened to see a link on Instagram. I miss it though. I miss knowing what is going on with everyone and I miss talking to all of you.
So now that we have that out of the way, here is a little bit of what has been taking up my time.
Door Hangers....and lot's of them.
As of right now I have only been making Arkansas Razorbacks, Arkansas State Red Wolves and the state of Arkansas.
I am in the process of opening at Etsy page and plan on making different designs for the upcoming holiday's.

Motivational Monday

Wonder, be interested, dream, imagine, try....

The best possibilities aren't always given to you.
They won’t usually stand out and wait for you to try.
Those possibilities start with a thought, a dream and a little bit of effort.

What is it that you are wanting to try?
Why is it that you haven't started?

Stop pushing those possibilities away.
Find something truly fascinating about where you are in life and you will find a path to wherever you wish to go.

Motivational Monday

Everything begins with the decision to start.
There are so many "big" things I want to do but often feel overwhelmed to try or I am scared of failure.  I have decided to begin one of my goals....
Because until I try, I have not failed.

Many of you are probably in the same situation as I am.
There is something you want to do, but are scared to try.

Are you about to start something big?
My advice to you is to do it.
After all, what do you have to lose?
