Well hello there! I'm Amber
The name “Living in the Moment” comes from one of my all time favorite quotes “Live for the moments you can’t put into words”
I am not a fashion blogger, beauty blogger, design blogger, mommy blogger or DIY diva …. Though I often post about a little of each (yes I view my dog Bentley as my child) I am well aware that I don't write everything with proper grammar and often type in run on sentences as though I am talking. You will see lots of periods as if I am pausing for a moment. Just warning you - I am no professional blogger & it is not perfect.
Now that we have that out of the way....
This is my husband, Brad
He is mighty handsome if you ask me.
I met the man I ended up marrying when I was 19 through someone I had a crush on in High School… It just so happened to be his best friend.
March 24, 2012
Our wedding was the best day in my life. I re-live it almost daily through pictures. I wish I had another reason to wear my wedding dress again and have thought about framing and displaying it per Adrienne Maloof. I just dream about having her (or any of the other housewives' closet one day)
I am fortunate enough to get along with my in-laws more than you could ever imagine.
Brad inspires me to do whatever I want that makes me happy... even if I am a little scared at times. That I am thankful for.
I am absolutely blessed.
This is our fur child, Bentley
Brad often calls him a little shit, I refer to him as my little man. He has stolen my heart and is the best little cuddle buddy I know.
A little about me
I would love to say I am not materialistic but let’s be honest, new things make me happy. I’m about as girly as they come and have quite the obsession with shoes, clothing, purses, makeup and décor – all of which you will see in many of my posts.
I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Communications – I have a job with no lavish title or that is really anything to brag about. Other than I get to play with millions of dollars worth of jewelry on a daily basis and have been able to afford many things I wouldn’t otherwise be able to without it.
My husband’s job required us to move 4 hours away from my friends and family. I live in a community that doesn’t have much to offer, people my age, or things to do, but I try to make things positive. Thus why you don't see many exciting posts where I am dressed all cute going out with friends. There is no where here to "go out" and most my friends are hours away. Even though I do not like the town I currently live in, I am thankful because my husband’s job has allowed us to be able to do things earlier than most our age.
I adore children but do not have any of my own yet
Things that make me happy, happy, happy
Love, laughter, Reality TV, shopping, social media, ridicoulously funny shows like Duck Dynasty (new favorite in this household), college football, pictures, crafts, Holidays, a good read, diet dr. pepper, a new pair of shoes, and all things monogrammed
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better.
I love meeting new friends and have met some that are so amazing and inspiring through blogging. I can't wait to meet you!
Stay awhile and follow along.
